]Role Description

]This is a full-time on-site role located in Qesm El Maadi for an Operations Manager with a coffee background. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including managing staff, ensuring quality control, maintaining inventory, and optimizing operational efficiency. They will also be tasked with developing strategies to improve customer experience, implementing training programs, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Additionally, the Operations Manager will collaborate with other departments to launch new products and drive the company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across cafés, roasteries, or production facilities.
  • Ensure smooth workflow from sourcing to service — bean to cup.
  • Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and daily performance targets.
  • Maintain high product quality and consistency across all outlets.
  • Ensure all beverages meet company standards and brand expectations.
  • Lead quality control checks and coordinate with barista trainers or coffee specialists.
  • Gather and act on customer feedback to enhance the coffee experience.
  • Monitor and manage P&L, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Track KPIs (sales, labor cost %, waste, COGS, etc.) and develop improvement plans.
  • Optimize supply chain, stock management, and vendor contracts.
  • Lead, train, and motivate café managers and operational teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and coffee passion.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training or development needs.
  • Support in opening new locations (site setup, hiring, training, launch readiness).
  • Collaborate with senior management on operational strategy and process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Work with marketing on promotions, launches, and brand activations.
  • Liaise with procurement for sourcing premium coffee beans and consumables.
  • Partner with HR on hiring and retention of coffee talent (baristas, roasters, etc.).

Requirements

  • ] ]Strong background in coffee and F&B operations
  • Experience in staff management, training, and development
  • Knowledge of inventory management, quality control, and operational efficiency
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Qesm El Maadi
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
  • Relevant degree or certification in hospitality management or a related field
  • Experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment is a plus
