Operations Manager

Firewood – a growing Egyptian fashion wear brand with multiple branches across Egypt and ambitious plans to expand – is looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo.

As a Operations Manager , you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment and logistics, ensuring every part of our operations chain—from the warehouse floor to the customer's door—runs efficiently and effectively. You will be instrumental in supporting Firewood's growth by optimizing our internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Oversee and manage daily operations across order processing, logistics, warehousing, and customer support functions.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and ensure seamless cross-departmental coordination to enhance efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key fulfillment KPIs (e.g., Order SLA, return handling efficiency, delivery success rate) to maintain high standards of service.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor the logistics, storekeeping, and support staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed operational performance reports and strategic insights to senior management.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in Operations Management, preferably within the Retail, Fashion/Apparel, E-commerce, F&B, or Distribution sectors.
  • Leadership: Strong proven leadership and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Savvy (Preferred): Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and/or Inventory Management Systems.
  • Communication: Good command of English communication skills (written and verbal).


Tools :

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP or Inventory Software.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Trello / Asana.
