About Us

Genesis IPV Properties is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Operations Manager to join our leadership team at The Apartments at the Isles of Porto Vista.

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community while leading staff, coordinating vendors, maintaining community standards, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

Previous multifamily experience is preferred but not required. We welcome applicants with leadership experience in hospitality, facilities management, construction, military leadership, retail, logistics, healthcare, or other operations-focused industries.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager works closely with the Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of the community. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to operational excellence and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the apartment community
• Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate outside vendors
• Ensure timely completion and quality of maintenance requests
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal and community standards
• Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and operational expense management
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and capital improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
• Develop and improve operational procedures and efficiencies
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospective residents
• Respond professionally to operational issues and emergencies when necessary
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience (required)
• Must be proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), email, and web-based management systems
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Multifamily or property management experience
• Facilities management or operations management experience
• Construction or project management experience
• Hospitality management experience
• Military leadership experience

Compensation

• Competitive base salary
• Commission opportunities in addition to base salary
• Paid Time Off (PTO)

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• Occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as business needs require
