Operations Manager- Oil & Gas Sector

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with strong exposure to the oil and gas sector to oversee operational activities, supplier coordination, and project support functions. The role will focus on ensuring efficient material sourcing, managing key stakeholder relationships, and supporting business development initiatives across supply and service activities within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities related to oil & gas projects and material requirements.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project needs and ensure timely sourcing and supply of required materials and equipment.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers locally and internationally.
• Support procurement activities including pricing evaluation, sourcing options, and supplier negotiations.
• Assist in developing partnerships and representation opportunities with international manufacturers.
• Support tender-related activities including technical and commercial coordination where required.
• Ensure smooth coordination between internal departments including procurement, logistics, and finance.
• Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to ensure competitiveness and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, materials, and ongoing project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in oil & gas operations, procurement, or project supply roles.
• Good understanding of oil & gas materials, equipment, and industry standards.
• Experience working with contractors, EPC companies, or industrial suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and tender support activities.
• Strong industry network is an advantage.
