Job Title: Operations Manager - Solar Energy

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our solar energy projects. As an Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our solar farms, managing maintenance activities, and optimizing performance to maximize energy production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of solar farms, ensuring efficient and safe operation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Analyze performance data and implement strategies to optimize energy production, reduce losses, and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure a safe working environment, enforcing safety protocols, and conducting regular safety audits and training.
• Lead and manage a team of technicians, engineers, and other operations staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Manage operational budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including project developers, investors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the solar energy industry is required.
• Strong understanding of solar energy technology, including PV systems, inverters, and other equipment.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Experience with project management principles and practices.
