Job Title: Operations Manager – Steel Industry

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: 8,000–12,000 per month depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our steel manufacturing and fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that production runs efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while maintaining quality standards and meeting client requirements.

The Operations Manager will work closely with department heads in production, maintenance, logistics, and quality control to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of the steel manufacturing or fabrication facility.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met efficiently.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely preventive maintenance.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE labor and safety laws.
• Review production data and prepare reports on operational performance, output, and quality.
• Coordinate with the procurement and logistics departments to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals and maintain high morale.
• Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or production management within the steel or metal fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and quality control systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (experience with SAP or similar preferred).
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi is an advantage).
