Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Operations & Marketing Coordinator to oversee the smooth day-to-day functioning of a Group of Salons.
This role requires a balanced skill set across salon operations, customer service, product control, marketing activities, and staff coordination. The ideal candidate will support Salon Incharges, ensure management instructions are followed, and contribute to business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities1. Operations & Front Desk Support
- Work 2 days per week at each salon to cover reception/front desk duties on staff off-days.
- Provide temporary front desk coverage during staff leave or absence.
- Ensure all salons operate efficiently as per management guidelines.
- Support Salon Incharges and ensure their responsibilities are executed effectively.
- Take corrective actions where required and escalate critical issues to management.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene standards, and ministry compliance across all branches.
- Coordinate with the accountant, salon driver, and technician to ensure smooth daily operations.
2. Customer Service & Complaints Handling
- Review and finalize customer concern forms prepared by Salon Incharges.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Contact customers directly when required to understand and resolve issues.
- Make random customer feedback calls to monitor service quality and consistency.
- Identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor WhatsApp, Instagram, and other social media platforms to ensure proper customer interaction and escalate concerns when needed.
3. Product & Inventory Management
- Monitor product usage and inventory to minimize wastage.
- Maintain proper stock levels and follow approved purchasing standards.
- Ensure all products are used according to salon policies and quality guidelines.
4. Social Media & Marketing Activities
- Coordinate with the designer and Salon Incharges to manage social media content.
- Utilize dedicated office days for:
- Online and offline marketing campaigns
- Expanding salon visibility in new areas
- Contacting companies via email, phone, and in-person visits for partnerships
- Attending meetings with corporate clients and collaborators
- Monitor daily social media and WhatsApp interactions to ensure timely responses.
5. Staff Performance & Development
- Monitor staff performance using reports and analytics.
- Ensure Salon Incharges and receptionists are performing their duties effectively.
- Recommend improvement plans in coordination with management.
- Conduct staff meetings, training sessions, and motivational activities.
- Maintain strong coordination with Salon Incharges, receptionists, and staff to promote a healthy and professional work environment.
- Coordinate with management for all major decisions.
