Qcells Home Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Program Manager to support the residential retrofit operations organization. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, improving business processes, and enabling scalable growth across the fulfillment lifecycle.
Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Operations Program Manager will lead initiatives focused on process optimization, Salesforce CRM configuration and reporting, operational analytics, and contract to activation cycle time reduction. The position plays a central role in ensuring operational visibility through dashboards and reporting while partnering with cross functional teams to improve workflows and business performance.
This individual will also contribute to new market expansion initiatives, digital transformation projects, and operational program management efforts that support the organization’s national growth strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong program management experience within residential solar or home energy operations, thrives in data driven environments, and demonstrates a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
This is a remote position. Occasional travel (10%) may be required based on business needs and at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Develop and document standard operating procedures and operational policies that support a rapidly scaling residential solar business.

Organize and maintain the document management system to ensure accessibility, consistency, and version control for all SOPs and operational documentation.

Support digital initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements, feature requests, and stakeholder feedback from cross functional teams.

Manage Salesforce CRM configurations and operational workflows to ensure alignment with evolving fulfillment and operational processes.

Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting within Salesforce and other reporting tools to provide visibility into key operational metrics, pipeline health, and program performance.

Perform data analysis and closed loop learning sessions to identify trends, operational bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Lead initiatives to reduce contract to activation cycle time by mapping end to end operational processes, identifying delays, and implementing improvements in partnership with cross functional teams.

Monitor and report on contract to activation performance metrics, establishing benchmarks and tracking progress against operational improvement goals.

Support the rollout of new software enhancements and digital tools by coordinating communication plans, demonstrations, and stakeholder alignment.

Support market expansion initiatives by researching state and local regulatory requirements, licensing, permitting, and certification standards for new residential solar markets.

Maintain detailed project plans and operational trackers related to market expansion initiatives, documenting milestones, dependencies, and stakeholder assignments.

Prepare presentations, operational reports, and executive summaries for leadership review and strategic planning discussions.

Perform additional program management initiatives and special projects as assigned to support operational growth and scalability.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

5–7 years of experience in program management, operations, or process improvement, preferably within the residential solar, renewable energy, or home energy services industry.

Proven experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures and process improvement initiatives.

Strong proficiency with Salesforce CRM, including reporting, dashboards, and workflow configuration.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into operational improvements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross functional teams.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.

Process driven mindset with the ability to identify scalable solutions that support operational growth.

Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and operational execution.

Experience supporting or leading digital transformation or operational system implementation initiatives.

Familiarity with workforce planning, production forecasting, or capacity modeling within operational environments.

Experience building data dashboards and reporting using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Experience working in high growth or rapidly scaling organizations, particularly within the solar, renewable energy, or home services industries.

Prior experience mentoring or guiding junior team members, with the potential to grow into a future people management role.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
