Operations Research Analyst

NUSO, LLC is looking to hire an Operations Research Analyst in Clayton, Missouri (may telecommute from home address anywhere in the U.S. up to 100% of the time). The position gathers and analyzes carrier operations data for the organization, while supporting management and leadership in making informed and objective business and policy decisions. The essential job duties are as follows: Collaborates with the operations team and managers to understand objectives and to identify variances in relevant data and metrics that impact the financial stability within the voice product sets. Sets parameters and requirements for data to be gathered; validates collected internal and vendor invoice data through statistical analysis while filing appropriate disputes with such vendors. Review vendor and customer rates for domestic and international partners to ensure accuracy of P/L. Retrieve vendor and customer data through Call Detail Records to ensure accuracy of billing. Drafts and implements time and cost formulas to plan, control, and review existing and new projects aligned with corporate objectives. Based on data analysis, assists with and/or creates, develops, and implements business methods and procedures. Present the results of financial modeling and data analysis to management or other end users. Prepares and distributes or delivers reports that identify, explain, and evaluate problems and available solutions around variances that impact day to day business. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, and two years' experience in data analysis, modeling, or a similar analytical role. Experience must include the following specific experience and skills:

• Two years' experience in Carrier Relations in the telecommunications industry.
• Two years' experience in SQL and Excel.
• Two years' experience using Transnexus and MVTS.
• Two years' experience in managing both customer and vendor disputes.
• Moderate understanding of regulatory compliance and taxes within telecommunications industry.
