FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY: SABG is hiring a full-time Operations Research Analyst / Operations Support Analyst/SME that supports Delta 3 S3 Directorate as a contract staff member assessing SEW mission programs, analyzing Situation Reports (SITREPS) and Operations Capability/Systems Capability (OPSCAP/SYSCAP) changes (deployment system and personnel statuses), updating reporting systems and leadership accordingly.

  • Support and participate in MD3-led Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) supporting mission programs
  • Process, distribute, and/or execute Higher Headquarters (HHQ) taskings at classifications levels up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) level from all applicable organizations
  • Review and coordinate HHQ mission-related documents for respective SEW missions or operational units, based on real-world SEW operations and intelligence sources (Includes collecting weekly Situation Reports (SITREPs) as well as tracking all Electromagnetic Warfare Combat Detachments (EWCDs) Operations Capability/Systems Capability (OPSCAP/SYSCAP) changes from all EWCDs and update reporting systems and leadership accordingly
  • Collect essential mission information such as key events, changes in taskings, maintenance information, training events, OPSCAP/SYSCAP, etc. during and after mission execution for tracking and trend analysis purposes and provide all recommendations as new information or updates are received
  • Provide support and maintain open communication with MD 3 deployed teams and MD 3 leadership
  • Report deployment-related items to include deployed members statuses, deployment site updates, OPSCAPs, SYSCAPs, SITREPs, deployed personnel updates, all published orders pertaining to SEW mission, etc. to MD 3 leadership
  • Liaise/interface with United States Space Command (USSPACECOM), Combined/Joint Force Space Component Command (C/JFSCC), Space Operations Command (SpOC), and Combatant Commands (CCMDs) in support of MD 3 leadership to support coordination and integration of SEW capabilities
  • Review and edit tasking orders, execution orders, deployment orders, warning orders, special instructions, etc. and coordinate changes and inputs to applicable organizations (i.e. CSpOC, USSPACECOM, etc.)

SUPERVISION: This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of comprehending personnel space management and interior design to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years Space Operations experience including 6+ years working with any military HQ Staff operating in support of current and future EW/OW mission areas
  • Experience working in classified (SAP/SAR) space environment
  • Operated or supported (i.e. electromagnetic warfare, Joint operations planner, EW Intelligence, management, oversight, or operations), any EW systems in military, commercial/civil, or academia
  • Joint operations planning experience developing/coordinating tasking orders, concept of operations, special instructions, deployment orders, execution orders, etc
  • Experience advising/supporting acquisition or integration of future electromagnetic warfare weapon systems, either upgrades or next generation capabilities
  • Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) weapon systems and operations experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
