Operations Specialist

· Coordinating Shipment Logistics Plan and manage the movement of goods via air, sea, or land, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.

· Handling Documentation and Compliance Prepare and process required shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices) and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.

· Liaising with Carriers and Vendors Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and other service providers to arrange bookings, negotiate rates, and resolve issues.

· Customer Service and Communication Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on shipment status, handling inquiries, and resolving problems efficiently.

· Tracking and Monitoring Shipments Use tracking systems and tools to monitor cargo movement, identify delays or issues, and proactively inform stakeholders.

· Cost and Billing Management Verify freight costs, prepare quotes, assist with invoicing, and ensure accurate billing and cost allocation.

· Data Entry and Reporting Maintain accurate records in internal systems, generate reports on shipments, and analyze performance metrics to support operational improvements.

· Cold Calling and Lead Generation Proactively reach out to prospective clients through cold calls and emails to introduce company services, qualify leads, and generate new business opportunities.

· Sales Support and Quoting Assist in the preparation of competitive quotes for prospective clients, track inquiries, and follow up to convert leads into shipments.

· Client Relationship Development Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.

· Market Research and Competitor Analysis Monitor industry trends, analyze competitor offerings, and identify potential areas for service improvement or business expansion.

Pay: ﷼9,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month
