Managing and overseeing the operational processes related to illiquid assets, including private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and other alternative investments. This role requires an understanding of asset management operations, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Perform reconciliation of transactions, valuations, and investment returns with administrators and custodians and resolve any discrepancies.

Analyze and validate fund reporting from administrators to assess changes in valuation.

Assist with audit, including review of fund financial reporting and coordinating requests from auditors.

Liaise with custodians, fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and sharia advisors for all services and quotations.

Oversee department’s reports, including but not limited to Monthly Income/Investment Income Trackers, AUM updates, and MIS reporting.

Prepare various administrative documents (Proposals, Mandate Letters, Agreement Review, etc.) in a timely manner.

Responsible for ensuring that prospectus and other documents are completed, filed, and distributed as regulations require.

Undertake and complete all tasks relevant to specific assignments in accordance with rules and regulations.

Ensure that the funds operate in accordance with regulations outlined by authorities.

Maintain and/or initiate new investment manager profile setup and input investment data from financial statements, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete delivery to internal consumers of data.

Provide professional services to internal stakeholders of data in fulfilling time-sensitive requests, including data discrepancy/gaps investigation and investment data process questions.

Own the maintenance of each external investment manager's internal document archive of legal/compliance, operational, marketing, and/or financial statements ensuring up-to-date materials are made available in a timely manner.

Streamline and document workflow through automation and process review.
Qualifications

University degree in a business-related field

Completion of CME 1 Exam

Proficiency in both Arabic and English

Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities

A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience preferred
