Operations Team Lead
experienced in
Elevators & escalators
field with proven experience in new installations to manage & control the execution of projects based on the project plan/budget. mange planning phase before project execution & also manage the project expenses to increase project profitability in line with the required total quality standards. Ensure timely completion while maintaining customer satisfaction level.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company

Accountable for completing the project safely, on time and within budget
-
Accountable for stakeholder satisfaction and managing their expectations
-
Accountable for effective collaboration and communication with and between stakeholders
-
Accountable for project cost control, material losses and damages
-
Manages projects from initial phase to project closure
-
Accountable for post-sale negotiations, price adjustments, obtaining approvals, liaise with factories and placement of order
-
Accountable for variation and scope management and claims
-
Responsible for project “hand over”
-
Accountable for creating the project plan and executing the project
-
Leading project execution, manpower planning, tools and other resources
-
Responsible for getting stakeholder approvals where required
-
Takes care (with his/her team) of the administrative activities of the project including project reports.
-
Controls the material and inventory and takes care of the claim analysis
-
Performs subcontractor qualification, evaluation, and selection
-
Negotiates sub-contractor scope, terms and rates, instigates purchase orders and certifies bills
-
Responsible for the project safety plan, quality plan, labor plan and logistics plan.
-
Responsible for site methodology and execution.
-
Responsible for the project’s financial result.
-
Trigger’s invoice and collection process on time.
-
Responsible for Project Start Up meeting and Supply Line interface.
-
Responsible for monthly project reviews, project audits, handovers, and final closure.
-
To use Company project management communication tools.

Leadership / People management
-
Plans manpower for the project (headcount and the right competence level)
-
Secures and retains appropriate talent for project execution
-
Preparation, organization, and retention of contract related documents as per company quality requirement
-
Identifying and facilitating project related change management activities
-
Leads the multifunctional project team and manages performance
-
Communicates project goals, gives feedback on the performance and coaches.
-
Coordination with other inter and / or departmental resources for infrastructure, transport, tools and any other day to day operational requirements
-
Creates and maintains safety and security awareness amongst employees and sub-contractors. Ensures company’s safety and security policies.

Daily time collection and reporting in system
-
Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager which include but not limited to the above-mentioned duties.
Requirements & Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical / electrical engineer)
-
Professional certificate in project management i.e., PMP is a plus.
-
At least 5 years of experience in managing major projects independently (prefer infrastructure projects)

Excellent Computer literacy
-
Knowledge of project management computer packages i.e., MS Project and Primavera
-
Excellent negotiation and persuading skills.
