OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Machine Operation: Maneuvering 360-degree excavators, including driving,, rotating, and using controls (pedals/levers) to operate attachments like buckets or breakers.
• Earthmoving Tasks: Digging, trenching, grading, leveling, and loading material onto trucks.
• Site Safety: Adhering to strict safety protocols, maintaining communication with crew, and interpreting site plans or markings.
• Maintenance: Performing daily inspections, checking fluid levels, and cleaning machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Demolition: Breaking up concrete and tearing down structures.

Requirements and Skills

• Certification: Specialized training, certification, and often a valid driver's license.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, understand laser levels, and operate hydraulic controls.
• Physical Ability: Good vision, physical stamina, and mechanical aptitude.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and focus on safety.
