A Senior Medical Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for providing direct physician support which includes but not limited to: performing basic to moderately complex ophthalmic diagnostic imaging and measurements as required by Ophthalmologist in order to make proper diagnosis and determines the appropriate treatment management plan for the patients.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as Retinal Fundus Photography and External Eye Photography

Handle basic and moderately complex Ophthalmic machines and performs daily calibration and quality checking to rule out any malfunctions

Navigate with good level JHAH Ophthalmic Viewing System access such as ImageNet6 and Harmony

Plan schedules and assessment diagnostic methods daily to enable timely Ophthalmic Diagnostic appointments with patients

Informeducate patients about the diagnostic procedures

Operates Visual Field Machine and performs moderately complex Optical Coherence Tomography Anterior Segment Cornea Macula Optic Nerve scans
- Measure Intraocular lens and able to determine and provides Ophthalmologist the regular IOL formulas

Aftercare of all ophthalmic machines on a daily basis at the end of the clinic
Diploma degree in Ophthalmic Technology or Equivalent
Certification in Ophthalmic Technology or related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in a related field
