Optometric Technician

We are a thriving optometry practice seeking an Optometric Technician to offer support in our office. We are looking for an energetic and outgoing person to provide excellent service-oriented care to our patients.

As an Optometric Technician, you will be responsible for the following:

• Accurately pretest and scribe in the exam room with the doctor and patient.
• Support Optical and Front Desk teams when needed.
• Communicating with your team regarding all aspects of patient care
• Maintain product inventory, organization, and department cleanliness
• Be flexible and willing to take on additional miscellaneous duties given to you by the Department Lead and/or Practice Manager.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be dependable, flexible, and able to work well in a team environment, offering help when needed. Applicants should possess skills in computer proficiency, medical terminology, organization, and prioritization of workload. The ideal candidate has the ability to multitask, keep a high level of attention to detail, and maintain excellent customer service.

We are looking for someone that preferably has experience in eye care and is consistently reliable. We are open to candidates lacking experience but NOT customer service!
