Are you passionate about ensuring quality in a fast-paced, regulated environment? As an Operational Quality (OQ) Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards during production processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Ensure in-process checks during production operations are conducted according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor manufacturing, filling, and packaging activities to ensure compliance with batch records and quality standards.
Support investigations into deviations, complaints, and quality issues, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Assist in the review and compilation of batch documentation to support timely product release.
Maintain oversight of retained samples, batch records, and compliance-related documents in line with GSK policies.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement by coaching teams on compliance and best practices.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality assurance or production environment.
Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience in conducting investigations and implementing CAPAs.
Familiarity with quality management systems and data integrity principles.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Previous experience in internal audits or validation activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
