RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RT) | CONTRACT JOB DETAILS

• Job Type: Contract

• Shift: Night Shift

• Schedule: 3 Shifts per Week (Rotating Weekends)

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

• Compensation: $50/hr to $57/hr

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care services across critical and non-critical patient populations. The role involves delivering evidence-based respiratory treatments, managing ventilatory support systems, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients

• Manage ventilators and airway management systems

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures

• Respond to emergency respiratory situations

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams

• Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR

• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years Respiratory Therapy experience preferred

• Active Oregon Respiratory Care License required

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• RRT Certification
