Oracle APEX Developer

Job Purpose :

• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications using Oracle APEX. The Oracle APEX Developer manages the full development lifecycle—from database schema design and PL/SQL backend logic to building intuitive and responsive user interfaces using APEX Universal Theme.
• The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise applications while ensuring performance optimization, system integration, and user satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Oracle APEX
• Develop complex SQL queries and backend logic using PL / SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers)
• Customize and enhance user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Build and consume RESTful APIs using ORDS (Oracle Rest Data Services) for system integrations
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Ensure applications are protected against SQL injections, XSS, and other vulnerabilities
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing systems
• Provide technical support and enhancements based on user feedback
• Optimize application performance and ensure database efficiency
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years major APEX projects from start to finish.
• Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications .
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., Business Analysts or departments heads)
• Oracle APEX Cloud Developer Professional or Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
• Experience with Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) or Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – Preferred
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines for APEX) is a Plus
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or Oracle JET
• Strong Command of English
