We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of our critical data systems.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, and support Oracle databases, ensuring high performance and availability.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and perform necessary patch management.
  • Monitor database health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Manage user access and permissions, enforcing database security protocols.
  • Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to provide database support and resolve queries.
  • Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for best practices and training.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and industry best practices in database management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, features, and tools.
  • Experience with database backup and recovery strategies, as well as performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for effective database management and querying.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem resolution.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Oracle certification is a plus.

  • Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with automated tools for database administration and performance monitoring.
