Oracle EBS Procurement Functional Consultant (Senior Level)

Muscat, Oman

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle EBS Procurement Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement modules, with a strong understanding of business processes, functional design, and system configurations. You will play a key role in solution design, requirement analysis, and end-to-end implementation for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional evaluations and detailed analysis of business requirements related to Oracle EBS Procurement.
  • Participate in design discussions, workshops, and process improvement sessions to identify gaps and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Map business requirements to Oracle ERP modules and propose best-fit configurations.
  • Perform system setup, testing, and functional solution design for Procurement modules.
  • Prepare and maintain functional design documentation, including BRDs, MD50s, and configuration guides.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams for customizations, reports, OAF components, and CEMLI developments.
  • Support integration activities with other Oracle modules and third-party applications.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-implementation support.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with onshore/offshore teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement.
  • In-depth knowledge of:
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • iProcurement
  • Sourcing
  • Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM)
  • iSupplier Portal
  • Strong understanding of Oracle standard processes and integrations across modules.
  • Experience in at least 4–5 full-cycle implementations or rollouts.
  • Hands-on configuration expertise in Procurement modules.
  • Good exposure to customizations, OAF extensions, and mobile applications related to Procurement.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to interact with clients and coordinate global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
  • Oracle Certification in Procurement or SCM modules (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Exposure to R12 and Cloud (Fusion) Procurement will be an advantage.
