Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial management processes, requirements, and pain points.

- Solution Design: Develop functional designs and solutions leveraging Oracle Fusion Financials modules.

- Configuration and Customization: Configure Oracle Financials applications, customize and extend them using built-in tools.

- Testing: Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality.

- User Training: Train end-users on Oracle Fusion Financials applications and create user documentation.

- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system smoothness.

- Data Migration: Collaborate with technical teams to define data migration strategies and oversee financial data migration.

- Integration: Design and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion Financials and other systems.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant or similar role, with expertise in Oracle Financials modules.

- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and Oracle tools like Application Composer and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Oracle Financials Modules:

- General Ledger (GL): Manage financial transactions and reporting.

- Accounts Payable (AP): Handle vendor invoices and payments.

- Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage customer invoices and receipts.

- Fixed Assets (FA): Track and manage fixed assets.

- Cash Management (CM): Manage cash flows and forecasting ¹.
