Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

The consultant should have strong expertise across core Fusion Financials modules, advanced reporting capabilities, and excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills. This role will lead solution design, drive financial process transformation, and provide senior-level advisory to Finance leadership. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality executive presentations, guide functional teams, and oversee enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Oracle Fusion Financials and CX Billing & Subscription transformation programs and process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Conduct executive-level workshops with CFO, Finance Directors, Controllers, and business stakeholders to finalize solution design.
  • Own the functional architecture across GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, SLA, and CX Billing & Subscription
  • Drive the design and development of OTBI reports, BI Publisher reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for decision-making.
  • Work with business to define reporting requirements and build custom dashboards for leadership using Fusion tools.
  • Prepare functional deliverables including BRDs, MD50s, process documents, test scenarios, and training materials prepared by junior team members.
  • Present complex solution designs, integration flows, and reporting dashboards clearly to senior management.
  • Lead UAT cycles, manage issue resolution, coordinate change control, and ensure end-to-end quality.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations (OIC/MuleSoft), reporting objects, data migration, and workflow enhancements.
  • Mentor junior consultants and ensure alignment with best practices and project standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years in Oracle Financials with 6+ years in Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, SLA, and end-to-end finance cycles (P2P, O2C, R2R).
  • Deep understanding of CX Billing processes: subscription charging, billing schedules, invoice generation, revenue management, adjustments, credits, and taxation.
  • Advanced experience in OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Fusion dashboards, Infolets, KPIs, and custom reporting solutions.
  • Excellent executive presentation skills with the ability to influence, communicate complex designs, and conduct leadership-level demos.
  • Strong understanding of integration architecture, roles/security, workflows, and best practices.
  • Experience building high-quality deliverables such as Solution Design Documents, Reporting Catalogs, Testing Strategies, Training Decks, and SOPs.
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems.
  • Professional certifications (Oracle Cloud Financials, ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
