Job Description

Job Summary:


We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant with 8+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud HCM applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional expertise across core and advanced HCM modules, have hands-on experience with end-to-end implementations, and be able to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and execute end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementations across all major modules:


    • Core HR (Global HR)


    • Absence Management


    • Payroll
      (Global or Local)


    • Time & Labor (OTL)


    • Performance Management


    • Compensation Management


    • Benefits


    • Talent Management


    • Recruitment (ORC)


    • Learning Management


    • Workforce Compensation


  • Conduct requirement gathering workshops, document business processes, and define future-state solutions.


  • Perform fit-gap analysis, propose functional solutions, and configure Oracle HCM Cloud modules accordingly.


  • Manage data migration, integration, and reporting (BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, HSDL, and Fast Formulas).


  • Collaborate with technical teams on extensions, integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs), and custom reports.


  • Participate in testing phases – unit, integration, UAT – and support go-live and post-implementation activities.


  • Develop functional design documents (MD50/BR100) and other project deliverables.


  • Provide end-user training and create comprehensive training materials and user guides.


  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring Oracle Cloud HCM solutions align with best practices and business goals.


  • Stay updated with quarterly Oracle HCM Cloud releases and perform regression testing and impact assessments.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.


  • 8+ years of functional experience
    with at least 4+ years in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud implementations and support.


  • Strong expertise across multiple HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Payroll, OTL, Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Learning, ORC).


  • Experience in at least 2–3 full-cycle Oracle Fusion HCM implementations.


  • Deep understanding of HCM business processes, HR policies, payroll rules, and compliance requirements.


  • Hands-on experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), HSDL, Fast Formulas, and BI/OTBI Reporting.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client interaction skills.


  • Oracle HCM Cloud Certification
    (preferred).


Nice to Have:


  • Exposure to HR Helpdesk, Workforce Modeling, or Journeys.


  • Experience with global rollouts and multi-country implementations.


  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Oracle Implementation Cloud Methodology (OUM).


  • Ability to mentor junior consultants and support pre-sales or solution design activities
