Oral Surgeon

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team. Duties

• Perform surgical procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize medical imaging and dental terminology for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with dental office staff to facilitate four-handed dentistry practices.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and dental technology.

Experience
Candidates should have a strong background in the following areas:

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with the unique needs of young patients.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to surgical procedures and dental fabrication techniques.
• Previous experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices related to surgery. Pay: $195,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
