Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Provide complete support to surgeon throughout routine in-office surgical procedures, including extractions, placement of dental implants, and bone grafting.

• Participate in monitoring patient’s vital statistics during surgery.
• Assist in surgery
• Anesthesia support during surgery.
• Reviews pre-op and post-op instructions with patients.
• Review patient health history and updates practice management software.
• Acquire diagnostic x-rays.
• Prepare and break down surgical tray and operatory.

Qualifications

Required Skills for this Role:

Must be friendly and be able to maintain a smile and positive attitude in high-pressured environments.

• Superior organizational skills and be able to take initiative.
• Must be a team player and work well with others.
• Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office and other office technology
• Prior experience in dentistry is required and oral surgery experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation.

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in oral surgery, or 1 year of relevant experience in the dental/medical profession preferred.

License and Certification Minimum Requirements

• CPR & first aid certificate holder
• Radiology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
