Order Taker

We are looking for Order Takers responsible for accurately taking orders, guiding customers through the menu, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming cafe environment.
• Guide customers through the menu, highlight specials, and make informed recommendations based on their preferences. Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary items such as pastries, add-ons, or seasonal beverages.
• Communicate order status to customers and manage wait-time expectations courteously.
• Handle customer queries, special requests, and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Assist in managing queues and maintaining an orderly service flow during peak hours.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and Melbrew service standards at all times.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant as server or order taker
• Pleasant personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, well-groomed, and customer-first mindset.

Working Conditions

• Store-based role with shift-based scheduling including weekends and public holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
