Ordering & Inventory

We are looking for an Ordering & Inventory Specialist. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of generator stock and procurement workflows. The goal of this position is to optimize the balance between supply and demand, reducing holding costs and 'dead stock' while ensuring that incoming shipments and vendor orders align with sales forecasts and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert approved BOQs to purchase orders; track ETAs and freight.
• Maintain safety stock/min-max levels
• Control logistics: import docs, customs, last mile delivery to site/warehouse.
• Resolve shortages, discrepancies across the branches
• Publish inventory reports: slow/non moving

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience 2:4 years in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or heavy equipment environment.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with generator components (engines, alternators, controllers) or general compressor knowledge is highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining relationships with international suppliers.
