Responsible for managing the warehouse by ensuring all inventory procedures are carried out correctly, monitoring the condition of products, and submitting a monthly report on slow-moving and stagnant items in the warehouse.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for all inventory movements (inbound and outbound).

Receive incoming goods and verify quantities, quality, expiry dates, and compliance with purchase orders.

Organize and arrange warehouse items properly and label them for easy identification and access.

Prepare item cards for all inventory items, both electronically and manually.

Maintain inventory-related files (purchase orders, issue vouchers, receiving notes, purchase invoices, supplier records, etc.).

Issue requested materials to different departments through issue vouchers and ensure all required approvals and signatures are obtained.

Prepare a layout/map for each warehouse, including a detailed list of items stored in each location.

Ensure issue vouchers are properly sequenced, clearly written, signed by authorized personnel, and filed correctly.

Monitor inventory items, inspect product conditions, and submit a monthly report to the department manager.

Prepare reports related to product expiry dates.

Prepare damage, disposal, and write-off reports for consumed or damaged materials in the presence of the Warehouse Supervisor and submit them to the department manager.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts.

Monitor stock balances after each transaction to ensure accuracy; notify the Warehouse Manager and concerned departments when stock reaches the minimum level.

Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization with the support of warehouse workers.

Monitor warehouse safety equipment (fire extinguishers, water hoses, etc.) and ensure they are in good condition and operational.

Ensure clear internal aisles are available to facilitate movement and goods handling.

Arrange and store items according to approved warehouse standards and regulations.

Apply inventory management concepts (safety stock, reorder point, maximum stock level, and storage space calculation).

Perform any other tasks required within the scope of the job’s core responsibilities.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
