Organizational Design Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Organizational Design Specialist analyzes, designs, and implements company structures, roles, and workflows to align with strategic business goals. They enhance operational efficiency, clarify roles, and optimize talent to ensure organizational agility. The role often focuses on workforce planning, process improvement, and supporting change initiatives across the organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Structure & Operating Model Design

  • Define and implement organizational structures and operating models that support business strategy.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and operational frameworks.

2. Strategic Analysis

  • Analyze organizational data to identify inefficiencies, workforce gaps, and restructuring opportunities.
  • Provide insights for evidence-based organizational decisions.

3. Change Management

  • Facilitate organizational change by supporting leadership during transitions.
  • Reduce disruption and foster a high-performance culture.

4. Organization Structure Scalability

  • Design organizational frameworks that are flexible and scalable.
  • Ensure structures can accommodate growth and evolving business needs without complete overhauls.

5. Business Unit Operational Objectives

  • Translate high-level strategies into specific, measurable performance targets for departments.
  • Align business unit objectives with overall organizational goals.

6. Chart Design

  • Create organizational charts and visual representations of company structure.
  • Develop functional tools that aid in decision-making beyond simple directory purposes.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • 3–6+ years in HR, organizational design, consulting, workforce transformation, or HR management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other compensation/HR management software).
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and local market trends.
