Orthopedic Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Specialist with a valid DOH licence, possessing strong surgical experience and well-documented logbooks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with musculoskeletal conditions and performing orthopedic surgeries with precision and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation for patients with orthopedic injuries, deformities, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Conduct and assist in orthopedic surgeries, ensuring adherence to the highest medical and safety standards.
  • Review and maintain detailed and updated surgical logbooks for verification and compliance.
  • Develop and execute patient treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, nurses, anesthesiologists, and radiologists.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT scans) and laboratory results.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, clinical guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Participate in case discussions, medical audits, and continuous professional development activities.
  • Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, risks, and rehabilitation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Mandatory: Valid DOH Specialist Licence in Orthopedics.
  • MBBS + relevant Orthopedic specialization (MS / MD / DNB / Board Certification or equivalent).
  • Strong surgical logbooks with documented orthopedic procedures.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience (UAE experience preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven expertise in trauma, arthroscopy, joint replacement, and other orthopedic procedures.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and patient management abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in sports medicine, spine management, or pediatric orthopedics (added advantage).
  • Ability to manage high patient volumes efficiently.
  • Familiarity with DOH regulations and documentation standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED40,000.00 - AED60,000.00 per month
