Job Summary:

Dr. Aravind’s IVF is looking for a skilled and experienced OT In-Charge to lead and manage the Operation Theatre team. The candidate should have a strong background in OT management, particularly in IVF or gynecology settings, and a solid understanding of sterilization, infection control, and surgical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• OT Operations:
• Ensure smooth daily operations of the OT for IVF and other surgical procedures.
• Prepare OT with necessary instruments, consumables, and equipment.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and manage OT nurses, technicians, and support staff.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure team readiness.
• Sterilization & Infection Control:
• Oversee strict adherence to sterilization procedures.
• Monitor infection control practices and protocols.
• Patient & Procedure Coordination:
• Coordinate with doctors and anesthetists for scheduling and procedure readiness.
• Support patient prep and post-procedure requirements.
• Inventory & Equipment:
• Maintain adequate stock of OT supplies and medications.
• Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of OT equipment.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Follow NABH standards and hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate OT records and reports.

Qualifications:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Diploma in OT Technology.
• 6 to 10 years of OT experience, with at least 3 years in an in-charge/supervisory role.
• IVF or gynecology OT experience is highly desirable.
