Job Title: Outbound Sales & Marketing Executive – Travel & Tourism

Job Overview:
The role focuses on generating sales and promoting travel packages to customers outside the company’s home region. This includes outbound tours, holiday packages, and international trips. The executive will develop leads, convert them into bookings, and maintain strong client relationships. The position requires a mix of sales acumen, marketing skills, and operational knowledge to ensure seamless travel experiences for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1️ Sales & Client Acquisition:

  • Generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, social media campaigns, and networking.
  • Promote outbound travel packages to corporates, schools, travel enthusiasts, and individual clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential client segments and emerging travel trends.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct client presentations and follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Negotiate rates and packages with clients while ensuring profitability.

2️ Marketing & Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for outbound travel campaigns.
  • Create brochures, social media content, email campaigns, and online promotions.
  • Collaborate with travel platforms, agents, and tour operators to expand reach.
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements to maximize bookings.
  • Attend travel exhibitions, webinars, and networking events to promote travel packages.

3️ Booking & Operations:

  • Handle flight, hotel, transport, and tour bookings efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed quotations, itineraries, and travel proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, ground operators, and other service providers for seamless execution.
  • Monitor bookings, cancellations, and refunds to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist clients with visa processing, travel insurance, and other travel-related documentation.

4️ Client Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Maintain an organized CRM system to track leads, follow-ups, bookings, and client preferences.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing timely support and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Build long-term relationships for repeat business and referral opportunities.
  • Offer personalized recommendations to enhance client travel experiences.

5️ Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and marketing reports.
  • Analyze sales trends, market feedback, and client preferences to optimize packages.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Provide insights to management for business growth and strategy refinement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in outbound travel sales and marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of international travel destinations, tour packages, and travel regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and travel booking platforms (e.g., Amadeus,
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset for marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
