Your Role in Making an Impact
As an Outbound Supervisor, you will Oversee daily outbound processes including picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping. Assign workloads, prioritize orders, and monitor productivity to meet deadlines. Verify accuracy of outbound shipments through audits and quality checks. Ensure proper documentation for shipping, including BOLs (Bills of Lading), manifests, and compliance paperwork. Coordinate with carriers, third-party logistics providers, and drivers to optimize load planning and routing. What you’ll do:
Team Leadership
Lead and motivate warehouse staff including team leads and forklift operators.
Conduct daily briefings to align on goals, safety, and priorities.
Monitor performance, provide coaching, and enforce accountability.
Promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
2. Safety & Compliance
Perform regular safety checks and lead toolbox talks.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
3. Reporting & KPIs
Track key metrics: on-time shipping, order accuracy, and labor productivity.
Generate daily performance reports and suggest improvements based on data.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Inventory Control, Procurement, and Inbound teams.
Resolve stock discrepancies, order issues, and align outbound planning with inventory.
How You Can Get This Opportunity:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a blend of technical know-how and strong interpersonal skills. Here's what we're looking for:
A high school diploma is required; an Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or Business is preferred.
3–5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
Strong Excel and reporting skills.
Familiarity with carrier portals and transportation systems.
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, solve problems, and resolve conflicts effectively.
