Summary

Duties and responsibilities related to the Outlet Manager - Mr. & Mrs. Hawker position:

  • Lead all front-of-house operations, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly, from daily opening and closing procedures to managing service flow.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage the performance of the entire service team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Serve as the ultimate host and "face" of the restaurant, warmly welcoming guests, building relationships with regulars, and professionally resolving any complaints.
  • Possess and instill in the team a deep knowledge of Singaporean cuisine
  • Drive restaurant profitability by managing the outlet's P&L, controlling costs (labor, beverage, supplies), and minimizing waste.
  • Work with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure food quality and presentation are consistently high and authentic to the Singaporean concept.
  • Manage all inventory for beverages, glassware, and service supplies, placing orders and conducting monthly stock-takes.
  • Implement local marketing initiatives and promotions to attract guests and boost sales.
  • Ensure the restaurant's ambiance, from decor to music, reflects the intended Singaporean vibe.
  • Guarantee strict compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

  • Ideally with a relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management

  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Outlet Manager or Assistant Manager in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.

  • Preferably Asian female candidate

  • Experience in Middle East market

  • Proven experience in Asian food concept restaurants
