Summary:

The Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in connecting individuals and communities with A Safe Haven Foundation’s programs and services. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders; coordinating outreach events; and ensuring that those in need are aware of and have access to A Safe Haven’s resources. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement outreach activities and events to increase awareness of A Safe Haven Foundation’s services.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, service providers, and referral agencies.

  • Conduct community presentations and attend resource fairs, workshops, and other events to promote programs.

  • Identify and engage individuals and families who may benefit from A Safe Haven’s programs and assist with referrals and intake coordination.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure outreach efforts align with organizational goals and program needs.

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach contacts, events, and outcomes for reporting and evaluation.

  • Assist in developing outreach materials such as flyers, brochures, and digital content.

  • Track trends and community needs to inform outreach strategy and program development.

  • Represent A Safe Haven Foundation with professionalism and empathy in all community interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or social services preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

  • Commitment to A Safe Haven Foundation’s mission and values.
