Position Summary
We are seeking a strong Outside Sales Rep to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. This role plays an important part in developing new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and supporting revenue growth through direct, in-person sales efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently within their assigned territory.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow new business within an assigned territory through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers across energy, telecom, utility, and industrial markets.
  • Conduct in-person sales meetings, technical discussions, and solution presentations.
  • Understand customer operational challenges and recommend customized power, automation, and enclosure solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare and negotiate pricing, proposals, and contracts; close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and customer records within the CRM system
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven success working in outside sales, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, power, energy, or technical solution environments
  • Willingness and ability to maintain a flexible schedule to support customer needs and business objectives
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing a territory and sales pipeline
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions and selling customized, engineered solutions
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred
