Overhead Crane Technician

We Are Hiring Overhead Crane Technicians!

Are you experienced in maintaining and repairing heavy lifting equipment? We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and conduct repairs on overhead cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has technical training in crane systems, good problem-solving skills, and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing overhead crane and hoist
• Electrical qualification with experience working:
• Certification in NDT methods (ASNT, AINDT, PCN, or ISO 9712).
• As an Industrial Electrician on overhead cranes
• As a Residential Electrician with power points, lighting, air-conditioning, switchboard upgrades and rewiring.
• Mechanical Fitting qualification and experience
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding capabilities
• Experience in the installation of overhead cranes and hoists
• Proficiency in wire rope changes and visual inspection of lifting and rigging equipment
• Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English test (IELTS or PTE Academic)
• Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive a four-wheeled vehicle
