Duties

• Take dogs on engaging walks that promote physical activity and mental stimulation, ensuring they are exercised safely and comfortably.
• Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Handle animals with confidence using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and handlers.
• Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing to keep animals looking and feeling their best.
• Monitor pet behavior during walks and sitting sessions, noting any health concerns or unusual activity that may require veterinary attention.
• Maintain detailed records of pet care routines, behaviors, and any incidents to keep pet owners informed.
• Support pet owners with customer service by answering questions, providing updates, and offering helpful advice on pet care.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred..
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or assisting larger animals.
• Excellent animal handling skills combined with a compassionate attitude toward pets of all temperaments.
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
