overseas Admission Counselor

An Overseas Education Counsellor (also known as a Study Abroad Consultant) plays a key role in guiding students who wish to pursue higher education in foreign countries. Their main goal is to help students make informed decisions about studying abroad by providing expert advice on courses, universities, admissions, and visa processes.

• Assess students’ academic backgrounds, interests, career goals, and financial capabilities.
• Provide personalized advice on suitable countries, universities, and programs.
• Explain the benefits and challenges of studying abroad to students and parents.
• Conduct one-on-one or group counselling sessions.
• Help students shortlist institutions that match their academic profile and career aspirations.
• Provide detailed information about course content, duration, tuition fees, living costs, and admission requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest university rankings, scholarship opportunities, and changes in admission policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of global education systems and admission processes.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Empathy and cultural awareness.
• Sales and marketing acumen
