Package Delivery Driver *IMMEDIATE HIRING*

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Load and unload products using a pallet jack or manually as required.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues that arise.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks related to moving goods.
