Painter

1. Prepares surfaces and apply paint and coatings to buildings, facilities and equipment as approved by supervision.

2. Repairs walls, ceilings and floors using variety of specialized materials as approved by the supervision.

3. Maintains a working understanding of tools and equipment in order to perform maintenance and repairs effectively, under general directions.

4. Uses past practices to determine materials and type of paint or coating to be used on different surfaces according to conditions.

5. Works in co-operation with other staff and outside the company personnel when directed.

6. Identifies and gets required tools, ladders and scaffoldings to perform assign work(s) effectively.

7. Knowledge and experience of different types of paints, coatings and how it is used.
