Painter

To perform all painting, finishing, and decorating work required for the maintenance and improvement of company facilities, ensuring high-quality standards and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and repairing cracks or holes.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes according to specifications.
• Apply primer, undercoat, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Perform touch-ups and repair work on walls, ceilings, doors, metal structures, and other surfaces.
• Protect surrounding areas from paint splatters using appropriate coverings.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Ensure safe use of chemicals and painting materials in compliance with safety procedures.
• Assist in estimating materials and time required for painting tasks.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams for preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications and Requirement:

• High school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Painter, preferably in facility management or building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of various painting techniques and surface preparation.
• Familiarity with different types of paints, varnishes, and coatings.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
