To perform all painting, finishing, and decorating work required for the maintenance and improvement of company facilities, ensuring high-quality standards and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and repairing cracks or holes.
- Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes according to specifications.
- Apply primer, undercoat, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
- Perform touch-ups and repair work on walls, ceilings, doors, metal structures, and other surfaces.
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatters using appropriate coverings.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
- Ensure safe use of chemicals and painting materials in compliance with safety procedures.
- Assist in estimating materials and time required for painting tasks.
- Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams for preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications and Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Painter, preferably in facility management or building maintenance.
- Good knowledge of various painting techniques and surface preparation.
- Familiarity with different types of paints, varnishes, and coatings.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
