1.Routine Painting task

Responsible for painting interior, exterior, any article and surfaces of residential or commercial / Asset buildings using paint, varnishes, sealers, or stains removals. Perform several pre-painting tasks including utilizing sandpaper, scraping to strip old paint, executing preparation work for the surfaces, and applying filler for wall. Able to paint wall, door, window, chair, bench, table and any other asset which required painting and polishing. Cover fixtures and fill cracks and holes with an appropriate material such as plaster. Mixing and matching paint, stain and other finishes to job specifications.

Maintain painting equipment to ensure proper performance and take proper care of tools and equipment and performs routine check for use

Cary out cleaning of areas, supplies, and equipment post completion of job. Must clean brush roller and other hand tools post completion of each job.

2. Coordination & Communication

Communicate with team to determine painting requirements and helping them make the best decisions for their project/task.

Strong observation skills, highly focused while at work, communicates well with the supervisor. Ability to learn new things.

Follow management’s instructions in maintaining an inventory of paint and supplies also in executing the job with appropriate finishes and applications.

3. Teamwork

Supportive to the whole team working with, helping the team members in all activities including all type of job related to workplace.

Assist in storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations.

4. HSE Compliance & Punctuality:

Strict adherence to follow the safe work practice and reports to the supervisor in case if any team member breaks this compliance and follow all pandemic rules & regulations.

Comply with HSE guidelines with respect to the use of hazardous chemicals.

Stay up-to-date with storage and disposal laws, regulations, codes, etc.

Report duty as per duty schedule and be flexible in carryout work according to maintenance team requirement.

Secondary School Certificate / High School Preferred

Professional
Need to have L1 literacy in English

Formal Training
Years of industry experience and on-the-job training

Practical Experience
5 plus years of overall experience in painting work and possess knowledge about paint and chemical and skills in using multiple equipment’s for application. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
