Painter (Luxury Hospitality)

A Painter in a luxury hotel or resort is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of interior and exterior finishes. This role ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are visually flawless, well-maintained, and aligned with luxury brand aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out painting, polishing, varnishing, and touch-up work in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Match colors and finishes according to design specifications and brand standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repainting programs.
• Assist with refurbishment, renovation, and fit-out projects.
• Identify and report damaged surfaces, cracks, dampness, or paint defects.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently with minimal disruption to guests.
• Maintain painting tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper handling of paints, chemicals, and equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering and housekeeping teams to maintain seamless operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end residential/commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing standards.
• Ability to work with a variety of paints, coatings, and decorative finishes.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of safety standards and proper use of tools and materials.
