Job Summary

The Painter is responsible for maintaining and keeping the building and furniture in a proper condition by regularly repainting and varnishing according to specifications.

As a Painter, we rely on you to,

• Assesses area to be worked on for choice of colour, and type of paint/shellac.
• Determines type of paint work to quantify amount of paint/varnish to be used.
• Choose appropriate colour of paint/varnish to blend with background or as instructed.
• Determines if special treatment is required in surface to be painted.
• Ensures that relevant departments are aware of work by informing departments concerned when work is to start and when expected to be completed, e.g. FO and when to release them.
• Ensures that safety & health procedures are adhered to at all times.

• Two years’ operating experience in a hotel Engineering department.
• Positive and proactive attitude
