Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee daily operations of our hospitality and food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety, customer service, and team development. This role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving business growth in a fast-paced environment. The General Manager will be responsible for upholding high standards of food quality, safety, and service excellence across all departments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and kitchen management.
  • Oversee inventory control, food safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
  • Train, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor budgeting processes to optimize profitability and control costs.
  • Oversee food production, catering services, banquets, bar operations, and hospitality functions as needed.
  • Conduct interviews and hiring processes to build a skilled team aligned with company values.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage vendor relationships for supplies such as kitchen equipment, ingredients, and beverages.

Experience

  • Proven management experience in the food industry with a focus on quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments.
  • Extensive background in restaurant management including supervision of staff training & development programs.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
  • Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
  • Demonstrated leadership in hospitality management roles with a track record of team management & supervising experience.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, food production processes, catering, banquets, and bar operations.
  • Prior experience in hotel or casual dining environments is advantageous; barista or coffee experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a collaborative team environment. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
