Role Description

• Conduct legal research on laws and regulations relevant to business matters.
• Assist attorneys in reviewing and drafting legal documents and contracts, including legal forms, letters, NDAs, POAs, AOAs, and Framework Agreements.
• Organize and maintain legal files, documents, and correspondence, both physically and electronically.
• Manage external law firm engagements, WIP reporting, and invoices.
• Schedule and attend functional committee meetings and prepare formalized minutes.
• Coordinate with government employees with respect to ongoing matters, including company incorporations, renewing licenses, etc.
• Coordinate and manage the document execution process.
• Project manage legal department interactions with compliance, risk, and assurance teams.
• Maintain the utmost confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of work.

Skills Required

• Over 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house role, preferably in the gaming industry or in the United Arab Emirates.
• Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the laws and regulations in the United Arab Emirates.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, multitasking, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong research skills and ability to analyze complex legal issues.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
