Paralegal

This position is for a parelegal who will assist in all process-driven and administrative legal matters and report to the head of legal at CCAD.


We are seeking a proactive, Arabic-speaking Paralegal to support our legal team across a wide range of functions, from contract management to litigation liaison. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a working knowledge of legal processes in Abu Dhabi (and, preferably, ADGM), and the ability to communicate effectively in both Arabic and English. Proven experience in supporting legal functions in Abu Dhabi or the UAE is preferable.


Key Responsibilities


As a paralegal, you will support legal operations and projects across all functions of our business. Responsibilities include:


Contracting & Legal Administration

  • Review and process simple supply chain contracts using templates.
  • Prepare and manage the signing and approvals processes for simple non-disclosure agreements.
  • Support legal administrative processes including raising invoice requests, creating execution versions, document formatting, and filing.
  • Maintain and manage legal software and tools, ensuring accurate and up-to-date templates, filing and records.

Litigation & Disputes

  • Manage administrative aspects of litigation processes (including medical error claims), including filings, an and internal coordination's.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, external law firms and insurers to ensure smooth progress of litigation matters.
  • Support legal team with case preparation and evidence management in complex cases.

General Legal Support

  • Translate and review simple legal documents and letters in Arabic and English.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, internal process enhancements, and legal tech adoption.
  • Support strategic legal initiatives such as AI integration and internal training delivery.
  • Assist in administrative tasks, including governance, risk management, and internal compliance processes.
  • Assist with other ad hoc or regular tasks and projects as may be dictated by the head of legal.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited and recognized international university.
  • Entry-level position; candidate may be pursuing a professional legal qualification (e.g. LPC, US Bar, or UAE Law license).
  • Strong Arabic and English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Awareness of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT, with openness to technology-enabled legal work.


Knowledge & Attributes

  • Foundational understanding of legal principles and UAE legal framework. Familiarty with common law systems is also preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal concepts relevant to contracting and litigation.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive attitude, maturity, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Experience with legal tech tools (contract management, AI platforms, or e-discovery tools) is an advantage.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Acts asa junior legal resource with a focvus on process-driven and administrative legal tasks and matters. Assists the legal team with time consuming processes to ensure that the team isable to function effectively in its management of risk and ensuring that CCAD is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, thereby protecting its interests.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



ESSENTIAL Education


  • Law Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited, reputable University



Experience ESSENTIAL


  • 0 years experience required


Experience PREFERRED

  • 1 year+ Experience with litigation processes .
  • 1 year + Experience working as a paralegal in the UAE or a common law jurisdiction
