Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration for construction projects, ensuring value for money while meeting quality and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
• Evaluate tenders, quotations, and contractor proposals.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process.
• Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and quality.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Assess and manage variations, change orders, and claims.
• Prepare cost reports and advise management on financial performance.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual, legal, and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or similar).
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Membership of a professional body (RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience in UAE or GCC projects preferred.
